This project brings together piano improvisation and multi-media visual arts to create performance pieces that aim to take audiences on a visual and auditory in-the-moment experience.

Drawing initial inspiration from the waterways and coastlines of the artists' East Anglian homes the project takes on board impressionistic and post-impressionistic approaches both visually and sonically to create a contemporary and immersive space that aims to communicate and reflect the natural world and our intimate, mythological and vital relationship to water.

Adrian studied music at City University with piano lessons at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama graduating in 2001. He gained DipABRSM diploma in 1999 and LRSM performance diploma in June 2015.

Recent piano/organ performances include the Norwich based 'Voice Project' as pianist and improviser working alongside leading jazz Saxophonist Andy Shepard, Norweigian Trumpet player Arve Hendriksson and legendary British pedal steel player B.J. Cole. Most recently performing on site specific pieces 'Souvenir' (Norfolk and Norwich festival) and 'Lost and Found' at City Hall Norwich where he created an improvised Bartok-esque prelude to the performance drawing on thematic material from the performance compositions.

He has been a piano accompanist for the last 15 years working on international orchestral audition recordings, music college exams and for ballet classes at DanceEast Ipswich - using improvisation exclusively as a tool for dance accompaniment.

As a guitarist Adrian played with award-winning folk and early music experimentalists Horses Brawl for 8 years, releasing three acclaimed albums with Laura Cannell and performing at major UK festivals, arts centres and live on BBC Radio3.

Other highlights include performing with Radio 2 folk-award winning singer Bella Hardy, with Macedonian singer Tanja Tzarovska on the Barbican Main Stage London, and with leading British flamenco guitarist Steve Homes at Lewes guitar festival.

Sarah Cannell - East Anglian-based landscape painter and curator

Alison Harvey - animation graduate working regularly with the Norwich Puppet Theatre.
